THE DESIGN CHALLENGE
Expanding the visual volume of a compact condominium floor plan while seamlessly integrating high-contrast stone surfaces, full-scale mirrors, and comprehensive concealed storage.

THE BRIEF & COLLABORATION: Where human-centric spatial flow rewrites modern apartment limits.
Premium condominium footprints in Singapore frequently present a common design puzzle: how do you introduce the grandeur of high-end materials without overwhelming the practical boundaries of the square footage? When the homeowners approached Vitas Design SG, they brought a clear ambition. They wanted an elegant sanctuary that felt expansive, texturally rich, and highly practical, complete with extensive storage systems to keep daily life completely organised.

Rather than settling for standard turn-key solutions, the design team co-created a customised architectural layout with the clients. By treating wall surfaces as active design features and integrating large-scale reflective glass, the team established a fluid narrative across rooms. This project proves that luxury does not require massive landed acreage to feel grand, layered, and sophisticated.

SEQUENTIAL SPATIAL WALKTHROUGH
1. THE ARRIVAL & EXPANSIVE SOCIAL LOUNGE
Setting an immediate, high-end tone through dramatic stone features and geometric depth.

The entrance opens into a beautifully balanced living zone that uses vertical lines to create an immediate impression of height and scale.
• Smart Carpentry & Stone Architecture: The main entertainment zone is anchored by a vertical bookmatched marble feature wall with dramatic grey veining. A low-profile white console floats off the floor, keeping the walkable footprint unencumbered.
• Tactile Contrasts: Opposite the stone feature, warm timber paneling wraps the adjacent walls, providing an organic balance to the polished marble. Strategic gold accents and bold modern artwork introduce a gallery-like sophistication right into the main social area.

2. THE ILLUSION PAVILION: Mirror-Expanded Dining Zone
Doubling spatial perception through strategic reflective geometry and soft tones.

The dining area transitions the design narrative from stone textures to deep visual dimensions, using clever layout techniques to visually double the room's footprint.
• Reflective Spatial Illusions: To completely eliminate the narrow feeling of the layout, Vitas Design SG installed a full-height wall of seamless mirrors parallel to the dining table. This reflects the entire living space and outdoor view, creating a brilliant feeling of openness.
• Soft Geometry & Fluid Walkways: The dining setup features a custom oval table with soft curves, paired with elegant upholstered chairs in a delicate rose hue. The adjacent entryway corridor is wrapped entirely in flush, floor-to-ceiling timber panels that conceal hidden doors, maintaining clean lines throughout the apartment.

3. THE CULINARY GALLERY: High-Gloss Linear Kitchen
Balancing bright, streamlined minimalism with high-efficiency utility corridors.

The home transitions smoothly into a parallel galley kitchen, engineered to deliver heavy-duty functionality within a narrow footprint.
• Two-Tone Cabinet Engineering: Upper cabinetry uses a clean, handleless matte white finish that blends into the ceiling line, while the lower storage units utilise a sleek metallic grey finish.
• Ergonomic Workspace Flow: Under-cabinet warm LED strips illuminate continuous quartz countertops, ensuring a shadow-free space for meal preparation. A full-height glass panel door at the far end allows natural light to sweep through the corridor from the balcony yard, keeping the utility zone feeling bright and airy.

4. THE PRIVATE RETREATS: Rose-Toned Platforms & Smart Wardrobes
Translating boutique hotel luxury into highly organised personal rest zones.

The private bedrooms demonstrate that high-volume storage can be beautifully integrated into rest environments without sacrificing floor area.
• The Master Chamber: The primary suite embraces a serene colour theme, using a soft rose-toned tufted fabric headboard that coordinates with the dining pavilion. Handleless white wardrobes stand flush against the wall planes, illuminated by warm recessed ceiling light troughs to create a calm atmosphere.
• The Kinetic Platform Suite: A secondary bedroom showcases ultimate space optimisation with a custom raised platform bed featuring integrated step storage. This system connects directly to a built-in study desk and a walk-in wardrobe wardrobe system, maximising every vertical inch.

5. THE BOUTIQUE STONE WASHROOMS
Emulating high-end wellness environments within strict utility parameters.

The final zones trade basic apartment utilities for an immersive stone environment focused on clean daily restoration.
• Tactile Stone Envelopes: High-contrast marble-veined wall tiles wrap the master and common bathrooms completely, creating a clean, unified background. Custom dark vanities support crisp white ceramic vessel sinks, lit softly by hidden warm LED strip backlighting beneath broad mirrors.
• Fluid Delineation: High-precision glass sliding screens isolate the shower areas, keeping the wet and dry zones functioning independently while allowing natural daylight to move freely across the space.
